It happened a couple of times when I was an undergrad that for 3-4 months out of a year, my cycles would go *poof*. The disruptions in my cycles aren&amp;#8217;t related to my athleticism because they occurred equally when I was regularly unfit and when I became more fit. What I can&amp;#8217;t explain is how when I was super lean, my cycles were the most regular they&amp;#8217;ve ever been in my life.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I can&amp;#8217;t complain because I saved mad stacks of cheddar which would normally be spent on tampons and toilet paper. Didn&amp;#8217;t miss it at all. But when my cycles returned, they returned with a savage vengeance. Like now.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;My uterus has been making fists all day and I feel like I am actually bleeding to death. Ibuprofen doesn&amp;#8217;t even work anymore. How I trained like I did today, I don&amp;#8217;t know. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;And when guys complain about how they can&amp;#8217;t train because their pinky hurts&amp;#8230;.. eff that.
